Ingredients
  

For the burger patties
  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1 cup fresh spinach, finely chopped Make sure to chop finely.
  • 1/2 cup shredded white cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Olive oil, for cooking
For serving
  • 4 burger buns
  • Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato slices, or extra cheese

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, spinach, white cheddar cheese, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently until everything is evenly combined.
  2. Divide the mixture into 4 portions and shape them into patties.
Cooking
  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat and drizzle with olive oil.
  2. Cook the patties for 5-6 minutes per side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  3. Transfer the cooked patties to a plate and let them rest for a few minutes.
Assembly
  1. Assemble the burgers by placing the patties on buns with your favorite toppings. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

Make sure to chop the spinach finely to mix well. Don't overmix the chicken mixture to keep the burgers tender. For added flavor, herbs like parsley or basil can be included. If you prefer a little heat, add red pepper flakes or hot sauce.
