Ingredients
  

Vegetable Filling
  • 1 cup Chopped Onion Chop finely for a smooth blend.

  • 1 tsp Garam Masala Essential for flavor depth.
  • 1 tsp Salt Adjust based on taste.
  • 1 cup Chopped Coriander Fresh garnish.
  • 2 medium Boiled Potatoes The base for binding filling.
  • 1 cup Grated Paneer Adds creamy texture.
Coating
  • 4 slices Bread Use fresh for better texture.
  • 1 cup Bread Crumbs For crispy crust.
  • 1/2 cup Maida For slurry preparation.
  • 1/4 cup Water To make slurry.
  • 1 tsp Salt To taste for slurry.
  • 2 cups Oil for Frying Heat properly for best results.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, mix the chopped onion, carrot, capsicum, ginger garlic paste, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam masala, salt, chopped coriander, boiled potatoes, and grated paneer.
  2. Remove edges from bread slices and flatten each slice with a rolling pin.
  3. Spoon the veggie mixture onto one side of the flattened bread and roll tightly.
  4. Seal the edges using a slurry made of maida, water, and salt.
  5. Roll the filled bread popsicle in breadcrumbs to coat.
Cooking
  1. Heat oil in a frying pan until hot.
  2. Deep fry the popsicles until golden brown.
  3. Drain on paper towels and serve hot.

Notes

Serve with yogurt dip or mint chutney. They can be made ahead and stored uncooked in an airtight container. Leftovers can be reheated in the oven to regain crispiness.
