Ingredients
  

Chocolate-Covered Strawberries
  • 1 cup Chocolate Melted
  • 12 pieces Strawberries Fresh
Heart-Shaped Cakes
  • 1 cup Flour
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 2 pieces Eggs Room temperature
  • 1/2 cup Butter Softened
  • 1 cup Whipped cream For frosting
  • 1 tablespoon Food coloring Optional
  • 1/4 cup Decorative sprinkles Optional

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Melt chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl.
  2. Dip strawberries into melted chocolate and place on parchment paper to set.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, eggs, and butter to prepare the cake batter.
Baking
  1. Pour cake batter into heart-shaped pans and bake at 350°F for 25-30 minutes.
  2. Allow cakes to cool before frosting with whipped cream.
Decoration
  1. Decorate chocolate-covered strawberries and heart-shaped cakes with food coloring and sprinkles as desired.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container. Keep chocolate-covered strawberries in the fridge and heart-shaped cakes in a cool place.
