Preparation
- Carefully twist Oreo cookies apart, keeping the cream on one side.
- Insert a lollipop stick into the cream side of each Oreo. Add a little melted chocolate if needed to secure. Place the other half of the cookie back on top and gently press.
- Freeze Oreo pops for 5 minutes for easier dipping.
Dipping and Decoration
- Melt white and milk/dark chocolate separately according to package directions.
- Dip each Oreo pop into melted chocolate, covering completely. Allow excess chocolate to drip off.
- Place dipped pops on a parchment-lined tray. Decorate immediately with sprinkles or drizzle melted red/pink candy melts over the top.
- Let the pops set completely at room temperature or refrigerate for faster setting.
Serving
- Serve wrapped in cellophane as gifts or arrange on a platter for your Valentine celebration.
Notes
Store Oreo pops in an airtight container at room temperature for about a week. For longer storage, refrigerate in a sealed container to prevent moisture from affecting the chocolate. Let melted chocolate cool slightly before dipping to avoid melting the cookie.
