Ingredients
Method
Cooking the beef mixture
- In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef until browned.
- Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté until the onion turns translucent.
- Season the mixture with salt and pepper. Then, add the Worcestershire sauce and beef broth. Let it simmer until the liquid reduces.
Grilling the sandwiches
- Butter one side of each slice of bread. Preheat a skillet or griddle over medium heat.
- Place two slices of bread, butter side down, in the skillet. Layer on cheddar cheese, the beef mixture, and mozzarella cheese.
- Top with the remaining bread slices, butter side up. Grill each side for 3–4 minutes or until golden brown and the cheese melts, flipping carefully.
- Once done, slice the sandwiches and serve warm. If you like, garnish with fresh parsley.
Notes
Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor. Adjust the seasonings to fit your taste. For extra crunch, grill the bread a little longer. Feel free to add other toppings like sliced tomatoes or jalapeños for added flavor.
