Preparation
  1. Dice the ripe tomatoes into bite-sized pieces and place them in a bowl.
  2. Squeeze lime juice over the tomatoes and add a pinch of salt and freshly cracked pepper. Mix gently.
  3. Tear fresh basil into smaller pieces and toss it into the mixture.
  4. Drizzle olive oil over the mixture and stir gently.
  5. Let the mixture sit for about 10 minutes to meld the flavors. Serve chilled or at room temperature.

Notes

Store in the fridge until serving, best consumed within 24 hours for freshest flavor. Avoid freezing as it affects texture.
