  • 1 tablespoon olive oil Drizzle over fillets to keep them moist.
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese Opt for freshly grated for better flavor.
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise Can substitute with Greek yogurt for more protein.
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice Adds brightness to the dish.
  • 1 clove garlic, minced Fresh garlic enhances the flavor.
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 pinch salt

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. Place the tilapia fillets in the prepared baking dish and drizzle with olive oil.
  3. In a small bowl, mix Parmesan cheese, mayonnaise, lemon juice, minced garlic, pepper, and salt until smooth.
  4. Spoon the Parmesan mixture evenly over each tilapia fillet, spreading it out to form a crust.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 12 to 15 minutes, until the fish is opaque and flakes easily, with a golden, crispy topping.
Serving
  1. Serve immediately, ideally with sides like steamed asparagus, roasted vegetables, and a wedge of lemon.

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 2-3 days. Can be frozen for up to 2 months.
