Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 6 pieces hard-boiled eggs Be sure to cook them just right for a creamy texture. A great tip is to cool them in an ice bath to make peeling easier!
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise Adds that creamy goodness. You can always adjust this amount to suit your creaminess preference.
  • 1 teaspoon mustard Brings a zing! Choose yellow mustard for a classic vibe or Dijon for a kick!
  • Salt and pepper to taste Seasoning is key! A sprinkle of each enhances all the flavors.
Garnish
  • Sage leaves A fragrant touch of earthiness; feel free to use fresh if you have it!
  • Thyme leaves Adds a lovely, herby flavor without overpowering the dish.

Method

Preparation
  1. Cut the hard-boiled eggs in half and gently remove the yolks.
  2. In a bowl, mash the egg yolks with mayonnaise, mustard, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  3. Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg white halves.
  4. Top each deviled egg with a fresh sage leaf and a sprinkle of thyme.
  5. Chill until ready to serve.

Notes

You can prepare the deviled eggs up to a day in advance. They’ll stay delicious for about 2 days in the fridge. Avoid freezing them, as they lose texture and flavor when thawed.
