Method
 

Cooking the Filling
  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add the ground beef. Cook until browned and no longer pink.
  2. Add minced garlic, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and Thai basil. Stir and cook for a few minutes until the basil wilts.
Preparing the Rice Paper
  1. Soak rice paper in warm water until soft and pliable, being cautious not to over-soak.
Assembling the Rolls
  1. Lay softened rice paper on a clean surface. Add the beef mixture and optional vegetables to the center.
  2. Fold in the sides of the rice paper and roll tightly from the bottom.
Serving
  1. Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce, such as hoisin or peanut sauce.

Notes

For best results, do not overcook the beef. Prep all ingredients beforehand for ease. Keep hands damp when working with sticky rice paper.
