Ingredients
  

Puff Pastry and Chocolate
  • 375 g puff pastry ready rolled all butter puff pastry
  • 120 g chocolate (dark and milk chocolate) Mix for richer flavor
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp icing sugar For dusting before serving

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (about 400°F).
  2. Unroll the pastry and cut out 4 strips; make the strips short and wide.
  3. Place a piece of chocolate on one end of each strip and roll it over.
  4. Add another piece of chocolate and roll up all the pastry.
  5. Press the edges gently to seal in the chocolate.
  6. Spritz lightly with a little water and sprinkle with a little sugar.
Baking
  1. Bake for 20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  2. Just before serving warm, sprinkle with a little icing sugar.

Notes

Serve warm for the best experience; pair with coffee or tea. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to two days.
