Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (about 400°F).
- Unroll the pastry and cut out 4 strips; make the strips short and wide.
- Place a piece of chocolate on one end of each strip and roll it over.
- Add another piece of chocolate and roll up all the pastry.
- Press the edges gently to seal in the chocolate.
- Spritz lightly with a little water and sprinkle with a little sugar.
Baking
- Bake for 20 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Just before serving warm, sprinkle with a little icing sugar.
Notes
Serve warm for the best experience; pair with coffee or tea. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to two days.
