Ingredients
  

For the parfait layers
  • 2 slices slices of pound cake Can substitute with angel food cake or sponge cake.
  • 1/2 cup strawberry sauce Homemade or store-bought can be used.
  • 1/2 cup cut strawberries Use fresh strawberries for best flavor.
  • to taste Whipped cream for topping Add more cream if desired.

Method
 

Layering the parfaits
  1. Start by putting some strawberry sauce at the bottom of your jar.
  2. Add some chunks of pound cake to the layer.
  3. Add a little more strawberry sauce and some fresh cut strawberries on top.
  4. Finish this layer with whipped cream.
  5. Repeat the layers as you fill your jar.
  6. Enjoy your delicious parfait!

Notes

Serve in clear glasses or jars for presentation. Can be made a day in advance and stored in the fridge for up to two days, but cake may soften over time.
