Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C). Grease a donut pan with non-stick spray.
In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, and baking powder.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the yogurt, milk, egg, vanilla extract, and melted butter.
Gradually mix the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just combined; avoid overmixing.
Transfer the batter into a piping bag (or a resealable plastic bag with a corner cut off) and pipe it into the donut pan, filling each cavity about two-thirds full.
Bake for 8 to 11 minutes, or until the donuts are set and lightly golden. They should spring back when touched.
Allow the donuts to cool in the pan for about 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
For the frosting, puree fresh strawberries with strawberry jam until smooth.
In a bowl, mix the strawberry puree with 1 cup of sifted confectioners’ sugar, stirring until smooth. Adjust with more sugar for a thicker consistency.
Dip the cooled donuts into the strawberry frosting and place them on a wire rack to set.
Sprinkle with red sprinkles if desired, and enjoy fresh!
