Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, 1/4 cup sugar, and vanilla extract, beating until smooth. Fold in chopped strawberries.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, 1/4 cup sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Stir melted butter, milk, and egg into the flour mixture until just incorporated.
- On a floured surface, roll out the dough into a rectangle. Spread the strawberry cheesecake mixture over the dough, and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar mixture.
- Roll the dough tightly into a log, pinch seams to seal, and cut into slices.
Baking
- Place slices in a greased baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Once out of the oven and cooled slightly, drizzle with icing made from powdered sugar and milk.
Notes
Use room temperature ingredients for fluffiness. Store baked rolls in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
