  • 1 lb chicken breast or thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces Use thighs for extra juiciness, but breasts are great if you prefer leaner meat.
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce Feel free to use low-sodium soy sauce if you prefer!
  • 3 tbsp honey The star ingredient that creates that sticky goodness!
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Fresh garlic adds a delightful pungency.
  • 1 tsp grated ginger A whisper of warmth and spice.
  • 1/2 tsp red chili flakes (optional) Add if you like a little kick.
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch Helps coat the chicken beautifully.
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil A neutral oil for cooking.
  • 8 oz noodles (rice noodles or egg noodles) Choose your favorite noodle type!
  • 2 green onions, chopped green onions, chopped Adds color and freshness.
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds (optional) For beautiful presentation.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, and chili flakes to make the sauce.
  2. Toss the chicken pieces with cornstarch until evenly coated.
Cooking
  1. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Add chicken and cook until golden and cooked through, about 6–8 minutes.
  3. Pour the sauce over the chicken and stir to coat, simmer until thickened, about 2–3 minutes.
  4. Cook noodles according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
  5. Add cooked noodles to the skillet and toss to combine with the sauce and chicken.
  6. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

Add seasonal veggies for crunch and color! You can prep ahead by marinating the chicken.
