Preparation
  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add chopped onions and garlic, sauté until translucent.
  3. Add cubed beef steak and sear until browned.
Cooking
  1. Stir in chili powder, cumin, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper; cook for a minute to enhance flavors.
  2. Add kidney beans, diced tomatoes, and beef broth.
  3. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and let simmer for about 30-40 minutes until the beef is tender.
  4. Adjust seasoning if necessary and serve hot.

Notes

For extra flavor, let the chili sit for a few hours or overnight in the fridge before serving. Adjust cayenne pepper to taste. Feel free to add other vegetables like bell peppers or corn for nutrition and texture. To store leftovers, cool completely and transfer to an airtight container; refrigerate for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
