Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your skillet over medium-high heat to ensure a perfect sear on your pork chops.
  2. In a small bowl, combine paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper. Stir until mixed well.
  3. Generously rub the spice mixture all over each pork chop, making sure to coat all sides thoroughly.
Cooking
  1. Add olive oil to the skillet, letting it heat until shimmering but not smoking.
  2. Carefully add the seasoned pork chops to the skillet. Sear for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the external surface is golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 145°F.
  3. Once cooked through, remove the chops from the skillet and let them rest for a few minutes before slicing.

Notes

For best results, take the pork chops out of the fridge 30 minutes before cooking. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
