Method

Preparation
  1. Run a slice of tangerine or orange around the rim of a rocks glass, and dip the rim into a mixture of cinnamon and sugar.
  2. In a cocktail shaker, combine the pomegranate juice, orange juice, tequila, orange liqueur, honey, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, ground ginger, and a pinch of cayenne pepper.
  3. Fill the shaker with ice, secure the lid, and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds.
  4. Strain the cocktail into your prepared rocks glass over fresh ice.
  5. If desired, add a splash of ginger beer for a bubbly layer of flavor.

Notes

Fresh juice is key for best flavor. Mix everything but the ginger beer ahead of time and store in the fridge for up to 2 days.
