Cooking Steps
  1. Boil a large pot of salted water and cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve about a cup of pasta water before draining.
  2. In a large skillet, pour in olive oil and heat over medium until shimmering.
  3. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes to the skillet. Cook for 2-3 minutes until garlic is golden and fragrant.
  4. Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet and toss gently to coat with the oil and garlic. Add reserved pasta water if needed to combine.
  5. Sprinkle chopped parsley and season with salt. Toss until well mixed. Serve warm with grated Parmesan if desired.

Notes

Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor. Taste and adjust seasoning as necessary. Store cooked ingredients separately and they last for about 3 days in the fridge.
