Ingredients
Method
Preparing the Sauce
- In a small bowl, mix the burger sauce ingredients together and set aside.
Preparing the Patties
- In another bowl, combine the ground beef, 3/4 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon pepper. Mix well and divide into 6 equal-sized balls.
- Prepare your tortillas, cheese, and other toppings to have everything ready since cooking goes quickly.
Cooking
- Preheat a flat top griddle to medium-high heat. Place the beef balls on the griddle. Using a burger press, press down on each ball for about 15-20 seconds to flatten them as much as possible.
- Let the patties cook for about 40 seconds. You can season them now if you want.
- Flip the patties and add a slice of cheese on each one. At the same time, place the tortillas on the griddle. Close the lid and let everything cook for about 2 minutes.
- Open the lid, flip the tortillas, and use a spatula to lift the patties onto the toasted tortillas. Transfer to a plate.
Serving
- Top with shredded lettuce, burger sauce, and pickles. You can also add bacon and thin white onion if desired. Enjoy!
Notes
Make sure your griddle is hot enough before cooking to get a nice sear on the patties. Use a burger press for even patties and better cooking. Customize your toppings to suit your taste.
