Preparation
  1. Season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.

  3. Pour in the chicken broth or water.
Cooking
  1. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is cooked through.
  2. Shred the chicken with two forks or serve whole.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in your favorite spices or sauces before cooking. If you like a bit of heat, add some cayenne pepper or chili powder to the seasoning mix. To keep the chicken moist, avoid opening the slow cooker while it is cooking.
