Preparation
- Clean the shrimp by removing shells and deveining if necessary, then rinse and pat dry.
Cooking
- In a large skillet, melt half of the butter over medium-high heat.
- Add the shrimp in a single layer and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and opaque, then remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the remaining butter and minced garlic, sauté for about 1 minute, being careful not to burn the garlic.
- Return the shrimp to the skillet, toss them in the garlic butter, and cook for another minute.
- Finish with freshly chopped herbs and lemon juice before serving.
