Method
Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.
- Grease a 13 inch x 9 inch brownie pan and set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, mix all the dry ingredients (flour, cocoa powder, kosher salt, and sugar) except for the chocolate chips until combined.
- In a 2-cup wet measuring cup, combine Canola oil, vanilla extract, and eggs using an electric mixer. Avoid overmixing.
- Manually mix in the chocolate morsels.
Baking
- Pour the batter into the greased brownie pan and spread it evenly.
- Bake for 25 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick or butter knife. If needed, leave for another 5 minutes, but do not exceed 30 minutes.
- Allow to cool for 5-10 minutes.
Cutting and Serving
- Cut into shamrock shapes using a cookie cutter and optionally sprinkle with confectioner’s sugar or outline with icing.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
For easier cutting, let the brownies cool completely before using the cookie cutter. If you don’t have a shamrock cookie cutter, you can use any shape you like. Add a pinch of espresso powder to the batter to enhance the chocolate flavor. Experiment with different toppings, such as nuts or sprinkles, for a personalized touch.
