Preparation
  1. Trim and halve the Brussels sprouts, rinsing them under cool water and removing tough outer leaves.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat until it shimmers.
Cooking
  1. Add the halved Brussels sprouts to the hot oil, seasoning with salt and pepper. Sauté for 5-7 minutes until golden brown and tender.
  2. Add minced garlic and sauté for another minute, being careful not to burn the garlic.
  3. Drizzle molasses and lemon juice over the sautéed sprouts, stirring well to coat.
  4. Cook for an additional 2 minutes to allow flavors to mingle.

Notes

Don’t crowd the pan for crispy texture. Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor. Adjust seasonings to taste.
