Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 bunch Asparagus stalks Use fresh asparagus for best texture and flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons Butter Ghee can be used as an alternative for added richness.
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced Alternatively, use shallots or green onions for a milder flavor.
  • to taste Assorted herbs (e.g., thyme, parsley) Dried herbs can work in a pinch, reduce quantity if using dried.

Method

Cooking Instructions
  1. Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat. Allow the butter to melt and bubble slightly, creating a rich base (about 1-2 minutes).
  2. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant. Stir the garlic into the butter, cooking for about 30 seconds until it turns a golden brown.
  3. Add asparagus and cook, stirring occasionally, until tender. Cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring every 2 minutes, until bright green and tender but still crisp.
  4. Sprinkle with mixed herbs and cook for another minute, allowing the flavors to mingle.
  5. Serve warm by transferring the sautéed asparagus to a serving dish.

Notes

For best results, serve hot. Consider finishing with lemon zest or shaved Parmesan for additional flavor.
