  • 4 pieces salmon fillets Fresh salmon fillets
  • 1 bunch asparagus, trimmed Trimmed to fit the foil
  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted Melted butter for flavor
  • 2 pieces lemons, sliced Sliced for garnishing and flavor
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Minced garlic for seasoning
  • to taste Salt and pepper To season the dish
  • to taste Fresh parsley for garnish Use fresh for a vibrant garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cut 4 pieces of aluminum foil, each around 12 inches long.
  3. Place one salmon fillet on each piece of foil and surround with trimmed asparagus.
  4. In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
  5. Drizzle the butter mixture over the salmon and asparagus.
  6. Lay 2-3 slices of lemon atop each salmon fillet.
  7. Fold the foil tightly around each packet to seal them securely.
Cooking
  1. Place the foil packs on a baking sheet and bake for about 15-20 minutes, until the salmon is cooked through.
  2. Carefully open the foil packs, being cautious of escaping steam.
  3. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

These packs are perfect for meal prep and can be customized with different vegetables or herbs. Store leftovers in an airtight container for 2-3 days.
