  • 2 tbsp sakura syrup
  • 3/4 cup milk any type, dairy or plant-based
  • 1 tbsp hot water optional, to thin syrup
Toppings (Optional)
  • whipped cream for topping
  • edible sakura petals or pink sprinkles for garnish

Method
 

  1. Heat milk until hot but not boiling. Froth using a milk frother or whisk until creamy and foamy.
  2. In a mug, add sakura syrup and a splash of hot water if needed to dissolve it. Stir to combine.
  3. Pour hot frothed milk into the mug, stirring gently to mix. Spoon foam on top.
  4. Garnish with whipped cream and edible sakura petals or pink sprinkles if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

Use a clear mug for the prettiest presentation. Adjust syrup quantity to taste. Avoid boiling the milk to preserve the floral flavor. Not ideal for freezing.
