Preparation

- Rinse the asparagus thoroughly under cool running water and pat dry with paper towels. Trim the woody ends of each spear.
Seasoning and Roasting
- Arrange the asparagus spears in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Toss to coat.
- Sprinkle the grated parmesan cheese generously on top.
- Roast the asparagus for approximately 10 minutes until fork-tender and the parmesan is golden and bubbly.
Serving
- Remove from the oven and squeeze fresh lemon juice over the asparagus. Optionally sprinkle with red pepper flakes before serving.
Notes
