Reuben Dip

A delicious twist on the classic Reuben sandwich, this warm, cheesy dip is perfect for parties or game day and is sure to be a crowd-pleaser.

Ingredients
  

For the Dip
  • 1 package 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened Softened for easier mixing.
  • 1/3 cup 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/3 cup 1/3 cup Thousand Island dressing
  • 1 tablespoon 1 tablespoon milk
  • 1/2 pound 1/2 pound thinly sliced deli corned beef, cut into thin strips and then chopped
  • 1 can 1 (14.5-ounce) can sauerkraut, squeezed-dry in paper towels Make sure to squeeze well to avoid excess moisture.
  • 1/2 teaspoon 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups 1 1/2 cups shredded Swiss cheese You can substitute with other cheeses if desired.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a medium bowl, mix together cream cheese, mayonnaise, Thousand Island dressing, and milk until the cream cheese is broken up.
  2. Stir in the remaining ingredients: corned beef, sauerkraut, Worcestershire sauce, and Swiss cheese.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a lightly greased crock pot.
Cooking
  1. Cover the crock pot and cook on LOW for 2 1/2 hours, stirring halfway through.
  2. Alternatively, place the mixture in a baking dish and bake at 350°F for 20 to 25 minutes or until hot throughout.

Notes

Serve hot with toasted bread, crackers, or chips. For added flavor, consider diced green onions or garlic powder, or a few drops of hot sauce for some spice. This dip can be prepared ahead of time and stored in the fridge.
