Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8x8-inch baking pan.
- In a bowl, melt the butter and mix in sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients until just blended. Stir in red food coloring.
- In a separate bowl, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, egg, and vanilla until smooth.
Baking
- Pour half the brownie batter into the prepared pan.
- Spread the cheesecake mixture over it, then add dollops of the remaining brownie batter on top.
- Swirl gently with a knife.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Let cool before cutting into squares. Enjoy your rich, fudgy dessert!
Notes
Serve warm or at room temperature. Pair with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream, and add a sprinkle of powdered sugar or a drizzle of chocolate sauce for garnish.
