Ingredients
  

For the Brownie Batter
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter Melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon red food coloring
For the Cheesecake Layer
  • 8 oz cream cheese Softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8x8-inch baking pan.
  2. In a bowl, melt the butter and mix in sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients until just blended. Stir in red food coloring.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, egg, and vanilla until smooth.
Baking
  1. Pour half the brownie batter into the prepared pan.
  2. Spread the cheesecake mixture over it, then add dollops of the remaining brownie batter on top.
  3. Swirl gently with a knife.
  4. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  5. Let cool before cutting into squares. Enjoy your rich, fudgy dessert!

Notes

Serve warm or at room temperature. Pair with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream, and add a sprinkle of powdered sugar or a drizzle of chocolate sauce for garnish.
