  • 8 oz block of feta cheese, drained from brine Use a high-quality feta for the best creamy texture.
  • 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt This adds a velvety finish and boosts the creaminess!
  • 1 cup canned pumpkin puree (unsweetened) Make sure it’s pure pumpkin for a rich flavor.
  • 1-2 Tbsp honey Start with one tablespoon and add more to taste.
  • 1 tsp dried thyme Fresh thyme brings a lovely herbaceous note.
  • to taste none black pepper (freshly cracked) This adds a slight kick.
  • to taste none fresh thyme A sprinkle on top brings a pop of color and flavor.
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional; raw or toasted) Toast them lightly to enhance their nutty flavor.
  • to drizzle none extra honey A final drizzle adds a touch of sweetness.
  • 1 loaf crusty, toasted bread Like sourdough or baguette.
  • 1 package crackers Go for different flavors like rosemary or sea salt.

Method
 

Make the Whipped Feta
  1. Add the feta cheese and Greek yogurt to a food processor. Blend until smooth.
Add the Flavor
  1. Add pumpkin puree, honey, thyme, and black pepper. Blend to combine.
Chill Time
  1. Transfer the dip to a bowl, cover, and chill in the fridge for 30-60 minutes.
Garnish and Serve
  1. Garnish with chopped walnuts, fresh thyme, honey, and more pepper before serving.
Dig In!
  1. Serve with toasted bread or crackers for dipping.

Notes

Chill the dip to enhance flavors. Duble the recipe for larger gatherings.
