Preparation

  4. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Let cool for a few minutes before slicing into squares.

Notes

For added flavor, you can roast your own pumpkin for a fresher taste. Use chocolate chips, nuts, or dried fruits for variations. Allowing the dish to cool in the pan will help achieve neat slices.
