Ingredients
  

Beef

  • 3 lbs chuck roast well-marbled
  • 1 cup beef broth low sodium
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp paprika smoked for extra flavor
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp black pepper freshly ground
  • 1 tsp salt

Toppings & Bread

  • 6 brioche buns or pretzel buns for a denser texture
  • coleslaw vinegar-based or creamy
  • pickles dill or bread-and-butter
  • barbecue sauce optional, for extra flavor

Instructions
 

  • Season the chuck roast with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
  • Place the beef in a slow cooker and pour in the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce.
  • Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours, or until the beef is tender and shreds easily with a fork.
  • Remove the beef from the slow cooker and shred it using two forks.
  • Return the shredded beef to the slow cooker and mix it with the cooking juices for extra flavor.
  • Toast the brioche buns lightly for extra texture.
  • Assemble the sandwiches by placing the pulled beef on the buns and adding toppings like coleslaw, pickles, and barbecue sauce.

Notes

For an extra smoky flavor, add a few drops of liquid smoke to the broth. Feel free to experiment with different toppings like caramelized onions, cheese, or spicy jalapeƱos!
