- In a large mixing bowl, combine the drained pineapple chunks and crushed pineapple.
- Add the shredded sharp cheddar cheese to the pineapple mixture.

- Transfer the pineapple mixture into a 1.5-quart casserole dish, spreading it evenly.
- In a medium bowl, mix the crushed buttery round crackers with the melted butter. Ensure the crumbs are well coated.
- Sprinkle the buttery cracker mixture evenly over the pineapple mixture in the casserole dish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 30 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving.
