  • 1 can crescent roll dough
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce For topping
  • 1 cup pepperoni slices
  • Cooking spray or parchment paper For greasing the baking sheet

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the crescent roll dough on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or lightly greased with cooking spray.
  3. Place a small amount of marinara sauce on each triangle of dough.
  4. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese and add pepperoni slices on top.
  5. Roll up the crescent triangles starting from the wide end to the tip.
  6. Place them on the baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Serve warm with extra marinara sauce for dipping. Add a sprinkle of Italian herbs or crushed red pepper flakes for extra flavor. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven or microwave until warmed through.
