Dough Ingredients
  • 1 loaf loaf of frozen bread dough (or homemade dough) Can use homemade dough if desired.
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 egg egg (for egg wash) Beaten for egg wash.
Filling Ingredients
  • 3-4 pieces ripe peaches, peeled and sliced Ensure peaches are ripe for best flavor.
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce Store-bought or homemade for best results.
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Thaw the bread dough according to package instructions until it is pliable.
  2. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  3. Roll out the dough on a floured surface and cut it into squares or strips.
  4. In a bowl, mix the brown sugar, granulated sugar, and cinnamon.
  5. Dip each piece of dough in melted butter, then coat with the sugar mixture.
  6. Layer the pieces in a greased bundt pan and add sliced peaches between layers.
  7. Drizzle with caramel sauce and add any remaining sugar mixture on top.
  8. Cover the pan and let it rise until doubled in size (about 30-45 minutes).
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
  2. Allow to cool slightly before inverting onto a plate.
  3. Drizzle with additional caramel sauce before serving.

Notes

Serve warm for the best experience. Pairs well with vanilla ice cream. If any leftovers, store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to two days.
