Ingredients

Main ingredients
  • 1 package Oreo cookies Regular or gluten-free Oreos can be used.
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened Can substitute with vegan cream cheese.
  • 12 oz white chocolate or vanilla candy melts
  • red and blue sprinkles or food coloring For decoration.

Method

Preparation
  1. Crush the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs using a food processor. Pulse for about 30 seconds or until achieving a sandy texture.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed Oreos with the softened cream cheese. Mix until well incorporated and forms a consistent dough.
  3. Roll the mixture into small balls, about 1-inch in diameter, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Transfer the baking sheet to the freezer and let the balls chill for approximately 30 minutes until firm.
Coating
  1. Melt the white chocolate or vanilla candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl, heating in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth.
  2. Once firm, dip each ball into the melted chocolate, allowing excess chocolate to drip off before placing it back on the baking sheet.
  3. Decorate dipped balls with red and blue sprinkles or add a few drops of food coloring to the melted chocolate before coating.
Serving
  1. Allow the chocolate to set and harden for about 10-15 minutes at room temperature before serving.
