Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Wash and trim the green beans, snapping off the ends.
- In a large bowl, drizzle olive oil, sprinkle garlic powder, and season with salt and pepper over the beans. Toss gently until coated.
Cooking
- Spread the green beans in a single layer on a baking sheet and sprinkle sliced almonds on top.
- Roast in the oven for 15-20 minutes, stirring halfway through, until tender and slightly crispy.
- Serve warm, optionally adding a squeeze of fresh lemon juice or a sprinkle of Parmesan.
Notes
Do not overcrowd the pan for perfect roast. Try adding lemon zest or red pepper flakes for variations. Leftovers can be used in salads or pasta dishes.
