Ingredients
  

For the Ribs
  • 2 lbs country-style pork ribs Look for boneless or minimal bone ribs.
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil To help spices adhere.
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika Can be substituted with regular paprika.
  • to taste BBQ sauce Optional for a caramelized finish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. Rub the pork ribs with olive oil to evenly coat.
  3. In a small bowl, mix salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika. Rub this mixture over the ribs.
  4. Place ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil and cover them tightly with more foil.
Cooking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours, until meat is tender and pulls away from the bones.
  2. If desired, brush with BBQ sauce during the last 5 minutes and switch to broil for a caramelized finish.
  3. Let the ribs rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat in the oven at 350°F for 15-20 minutes. Marinating overnight can enhance flavors.
