Ingredients
  

For the Ribs
  • 2 racks pork ribs
For the Dry Rub
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar Can substitute with honey or maple syrup.
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
For Serving
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce Use your favorite store-bought or homemade sauce.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine brown sugar, paprika, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder to create the dry rub.
  3. Generously rub the spice mixture over the ribs, covering every nook and cranny.
  4. Place the seasoned ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil and cover tightly with another sheet of foil.
Cooking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours.
  2. Remove the ribs and increase the oven temperature to 400°F (200°C).
  3. Brush barbecue sauce over both sides of the ribs.
  4. Return the ribs to the oven (uncovered) for an additional 30 minutes, basting with more barbecue sauce halfway through.
  5. Once finished, let the ribs sit for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Ensure to cover the ribs tightly with foil to keep them juicy. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
