  • 8 oz cream cheese Softened for a creamy texture; let it sit out before use.
Coating
  • 1 bag white chocolate melts For a ghostly coating; choose high-quality melts.
Decoration
  • to taste black icing or melted dark chocolate For creating ghost faces.
  • to taste sprinkles or edible eyes To add a whimsical touch.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Crush the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs using a food processor or by pounding them in a zip-top bag.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the crushed Oreos and softened cream cheese until well combined.
  3. Roll the mixture into small balls (about 1 inch in diameter) and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Chilling
  1. Freeze the truffle balls for about 30 minutes to firm them up.
Coating
  1. Melt the white chocolate melts in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  2. Dip each truffle in the melted chocolate until fully coated, then place them back on the baking sheet.
Decoration
  1. Use black icing or melted dark chocolate to draw ghost faces on each truffle.
  2. Add sprinkles or edible eyes for extra fun.
Setting
  1. Allow the chocolate to set completely before serving.
