  • 2 tablespoons dried orange peel adds citrus flavor
  • 2 teaspoons whole cloves provides warm spice
  • 1-2 tablespoons honey optional, adjust to sweetness preference

Method
 

Brewing
  1. In a saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil.
  2. Add the dried orange peel and whole cloves to the boiling water.
  3. Reduce heat and let it simmer for about 10 minutes.
  4. Strain the tea into cups and add honey if desired.
  5. Garnish with slices of orange and serve warm.

Notes

If you have leftovers, let the tea cool completely and store it in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat gently before serving. For a chilled version, let it cool, then serve over ice or add sparkling water for a bubbly drink.
