Preparation
- Grate the cheese and prepare all the ingredients.
Cooking
- In a pot, add the dried macaroni pasta and pour in water. Over medium-high heat, bring to a boil.
- Turn the heat down to medium-low, and cook the pasta per package instructions until al dente.
- Turn the heat down to low, leave a little residual water in the pot, and mix in all remaining ingredients: heavy cream, sharp cheddar, mozzarella, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, mustard, and sugar.
- Stir well until the cheese melts and the sauce envelops the pasta.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
Don’t overcook the pasta; it will finish cooking in the sauce. Grate your own cheese for better melting. Feel free to customize with additional ingredients!
