Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan and set it aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, mash the bananas with a fork or a potato masher until smooth.
- Add the melted butter to the mashed bananas and whisk until well combined.
- Stir in the granulated sugar, room temperature eggs, and vanilla extract. Whisk until mixed well.
- In the same bowl, add the all-purpose flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Fold gently until just combined. Do not overmix.
Baking
- Pour the batter into your greased loaf pan.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Once baked, let it sit on the counter for 5-10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
Serve plain, or with butter or cream cheese. Pairs well with coffee, tea, or milk. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
