Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 250 degrees Fahrenheit.
- In a small saucepan, combine the butter, sugar, Karo syrup, and canola oil. Heat over medium, stirring until the sugar dissolves and the butter melts.
- Remove from heat and stir in the shoyu, Worcestershire sauce, and Tapatio.
- Pour the mixture over the dry ingredients in a large aluminum foil roaster or lined 9"x13" pans. Mix well to coat the pieces with the sauce.
- Sprinkle the entire bottle of furikake over the mix and stir again.
Baking
- Bake for about 45 minutes to an hour, stirring every 15 minutes until the sauce has completely evaporated.
- Allow to cool completely before serving.
Notes
Store in an airtight container. It lasts about a week at room temperature. For longer freshness, store in the fridge. Feel free to adjust spices and try different nuts or cereals.
