  • 1 cup peanut butter Use creamy or crunchy depending on texture preference.
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup Adjust sweetness to taste.
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup chocolate chips Can substitute with white chocolate if desired.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine peanut butter, honey (or maple syrup), powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
  2. Press the peanut butter mixture into heart-shaped molds or a lined baking dish.
  3. Freeze for about 30 minutes until firm.
Melting Chocolate
  1. Meanwhile, melt the chocolate chips in a microwave or double boiler.
Dipping
  1. Remove the hearts from the mold and dip each one into the melted chocolate, coating fully.
  2. Place the chocolate-dipped hearts on a parchment-lined tray.
  3. Refrigerate until the chocolate has set.

Notes

These hearts are best served chilled and can be presented on a nice plate or in a gift box. Keep in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week, or freeze for longer storage, separating with parchment paper.
