Preparation
- In a mixing bowl, combine peanut butter, honey (or maple syrup), powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
- Press the peanut butter mixture into heart-shaped molds or a lined baking dish.
- Freeze for about 30 minutes until firm.
Melting Chocolate
- Meanwhile, melt the chocolate chips in a microwave or double boiler.
Dipping
- Remove the hearts from the mold and dip each one into the melted chocolate, coating fully.
- Place the chocolate-dipped hearts on a parchment-lined tray.
- Refrigerate until the chocolate has set.
Notes
These hearts are best served chilled and can be presented on a nice plate or in a gift box. Keep in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week, or freeze for longer storage, separating with parchment paper.
