Ingredients

Crust
  • 24 pieces Oreo cookies, crushed into fine crumbs
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
Cheesecake Filling
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened to room temperature For best results, ensure cream cheese is at room temperature.
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups whipping cream, chilled
  • ½ cup mini chocolate chips Optional for added crunch.
  • edible star-shaped sprinkles For the fireworks effect, available at craft or baking supply stores.

Method

Preparation
  1. In a medium bowl, mix the crushed Oreos with melted butter until well combined. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9x9-inch baking dish. Refrigerate for about 10 minutes to set.
  2. In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat the chilled whipping cream until stiff peaks form, approximately 3-5 minutes.
  4. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until just combined. If desired, stir in mini chocolate chips.
  5. Pour the cheesecake filling on top of the Oreo crust and top with sprinkles.
  6. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until firm.
  7. Slice into bars and serve chilled.
