  • 1 package Egg roll wrappers
  • 1 pound Ground beef Cooked and drained
  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese Shredded
  • 2 tablespoons Jalapeños Chopped
  • 1 cup Sour cream For serving
  • 2 tablespoons Taco seasoning
  • 2 cups Cooking oil For frying
  • 1 cup Salsa For serving

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a skillet, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add taco seasoning and jalapeños to the beef, mixing well.
  3. Place a spoonful of the beef mixture and some cheese into each egg roll wrapper.
  4. Roll up the wrappers, sealing the edges with water.
Cooking
  1. Heat oil in a pan for frying or preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) for baking.
  2. Fry egg rolls until golden brown or bake for 15-20 minutes until crispy.
Serving
  1. Serve with sour cream and salsa.

Notes

Make sure to drain the ground beef well to prevent soggy egg rolls. You can use different types of cheese for more variety. To keep wrappers from drying out, cover them with a damp cloth until ready to use.
