  • 3 ripe bananas Make sure they are very ripe for the best flavor.
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • ½ cup butter Melted.
  • 2 eggs Can be substituted with applesauce or flaxseed mixture.
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Optional, but recommended.

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mash the ripe bananas in a bowl.
  3. Mix in the sugar and melted butter.
  4. Beat the eggs and add them to the mixture.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  6. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the banana mixture until just combined.
  7. Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan.
  8. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Let it cool before slicing.

Notes

Store wrapped in plastic wrap or aluminum foil at room temperature for up to 3 days, or freeze for up to 3 months. Consider adding nuts, chocolate chips, or dried fruits for extra flavor.
