Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, sour cream, cream of chicken soup, cheddar cheese, cooked rice or pasta, green onions, mayonnaise, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a separate bowl, combine crushed Ritz crackers and melted butter, then sprinkle evenly over the casserole.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and the topping is golden brown.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Serve hot paired with a simple salad or steamed vegetables. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days, or freeze tightly wrapped.
