Ingredients
  

Cake Batter
  • 4 Mars bars chopped
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar packed
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Method
 

  1. In a saucepan over low heat, melt chopped Mars bars with butter. Stir until smooth and glossy. Let cool slightly.
  2. In a bowl, whisk eggs, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until fluffy. Slowly whisk in the melted Mars mixture.
  3. In another bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually fold into the wet mixture. Add milk and stir until smooth.
  4. Pour batter into a greased square baking pan. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25–30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
  5. Cool slightly before slicing. Optional: Chill for 10–15 minutes for cleaner slices.

Notes

Want it extra gooey? Drizzle with more melted Mars bars or serve with ice cream. Can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
